In reality, Ireland is not the land of leprechauns and pots o’ gold and ‘The Quiet Man’, but you know, it is still a land of enchantment and rainbows and shamrocks and endless shades of green.

  3. I do remember expecting to see some leprechauns though when hiking near Kilkenny years ago! Cheryl, I do kind of like how the sockblocker “shapes” the sock, but it seems to me that my foot would do as good a job.

    I know that Irish and Scots Gaelic are very similar, I haven’t seen much Irish Gaelic, but what was written looks very like the Scots Gaelic that I am learning…
    Are your children at a Irish/Gaelic medium school?
