If wishes were horses,…

“…beggars would ride. If turnips were swords, I’d wear one by my side.
If ‘ifs’ and ‘ands’ were pots and pans, there’d be no need for tinkers’ hands.”

-Scottish Proverb

I wish the cabled jumper would move along at a faster pace.
(But I realise other projects have jumped the queue.)

I wish I were a bit slimmer.
(As I think the moss-stitch pattern may add some unwanted bulk to go with the other ‘unwanted bulk’.)

I wish for world peace and a cure for cancer.
(While I’m wishing, I might as well wish big, don’t you think?)

  1. Love and all best wishes to Leonie (and aren’t words inadequate when you really need them).

  2. If wishes were horses, I’d ride with every kid to health. No child should have to deal with cancer. No parent should have to either. Prayers and best wishes are sent to Leonie and family.

  4. Oh my goodness, we have a 3-year-old friend Nora who is fighting leukemia, too. Thankfully her treatment is going well, but they are 2 months in to a 2-year treatment program. It’s a long haul. You are sweet to recognize your friend.
