I think that blogs are great for the same reason that I think books can be so wonderful. They help you realize that you’re not alone with your feelings. I’ve always liked the term “knitting doldrums,” but I’m starting to understand that it’s usually bigger than just knitting and that lots of us knitters get it occasionally. AND I also know that knitters are often contemplative people who find ways to work their way through it. Waiting can be so difficult! Thanks for the “flower pick-me-up” for the rest of us and I hope they helped you a little too.

Your not alone….feeling like this a lot lately…..I put it down to an age thing…you know kids all flown nest….I think my blahs is that I had dreams when younger that all our children would want to know us and sadly it hasn’t worked out like that…..damn blast and blah it…ops sorry…should be cheering you up…flowers are pretty. knittings great. summers coming…..hubby just rang and said hes taking me out tonight for dinner.
