So what do you think happens around the dinner table in the evening?

Postscript: Okay, truth be told…we’re staying with friends, one of whom is a policeman. But still…

    Oh I remember that happening at my aunt’s and uncle’s…………it still gives me a sick stomach, many handguns and rifles later…………I hope you are enjoying your trip :D

    reminds me of a saying by a friend: nothing wrong with guns, just with people who use them! I am just glad that they are (and hopefully stay!) a rare thing in rural ireland….

    Prominent news in Irish Times this morning - man shot in head and dumped out of car near shops in Stillorgan - this is about 2 miles from where I live in “peaceful” Dundrum.
