Clueless

Apologies—no fibre, no pretty pictures, no tasty desserts. Just a question…What in the world are they doing in Eastern Europe? I’m stumped.

I have a site meter on the blog. No biggie, many people do. Don’t really check on it much except…..when I see that I have a inordinate amount of hits from Poland. Hmmmm….is there a new crop of knitters growing there? Curiosity peaked, I look at what drew them. And this is what I found—

Without fail, this photo, which I posted during the I’ve-Just-Washed-My-New-Mobile-And-This-Is-What-I-Had-To-Replace-It-With trauma, is what brings them to this blog. Why is that?

It’s a mystery to me…..

    that is so funny! They google “meaning of life” or “how to get a date” or “What in the world are they doing in Ireland?” in Polish, and this is what comes up. . . . . giggle.

    With my work-hat on, I’d say it’s a popular phone model there, and your pic comes up high in Google searches (given its very searchable name).

    Not as exciting as everyone else’s ideas, sorry about that!

    I am Polish and have been living in Ireland since 2003. I found your blog not because of the fancy phone, but because I am a knitting addict who can not believe that knitting in Ireland isn’t more popular (number of blogs, yarn/fiber shops and knitting groups is not very impressive)…
    …With all the walking fiber around…

    Yeah, I’m Polish and I’ve found this site because … of the phone. That’s what I use google for - to check up stuff. Not to make my life meaningful or to get a date.
