Sugar cookies are my favorite of all the many cookie recipes out there. It just seems that whenever there is a memory from childhood family gatherings, sugar cookies were part of that memory. When I finally made a cookie that was close, my dad was SO pleased. I love making those cookies for him every year--they are the yummiest!! I actually love eating the dough almost better than the baked cookie! I will roll them out, decorate and bake them tomorrow along with a batch of gingerbread cookies that I'm trying for the first time. Your recipe looks very close to mine - yummy!
