I did a very similar thing to you that day .. walking with my camera in rural Ireland … I stopped to take a photo of a beautiful scene … sun shining through fog onto a river … a car sped by me on the lane and I got drenched head to toe with icy pot hole water!!!! Once my €500 camera, mobile phone and even car radio had all dried out and still worked, I could laugh!!!

Thanks for sharing the pictures - they’re beautiful. It’s hard to believe that people actually live there, and it’s just not someplace on TV. I need to get out more, don’t I?

What a view…I love the snow where I live too much to give it up, (after last night’s snowfall, you could see every individual flake and the patterns on them! Beautiful!) but all of the breathtaking pictures on your blog make Dublin a close second! Also, I’m with you on the extra pounds. Tomorrow commences my health kick! Haha, good luck to us both. I am so terribly behind on my visits to my blogging friends. Between being ill and the computer connection messing up, I wonder if I will ever catch up. Beautiful photos as usual.

Your photos and post of the fountain pen and ink brought back so many memories. That has always been me preferred writing tool. I even love the smell of the ink.

I think taking a walk outside (with or without the sun shining) makes my spirit lift abit more than just walking indoors. What beautiful views you have!
