Just collected from the lovely ladies, Lisa and Jacqui, at This Is Knit, who graciously sponsored the Crafts Category at this year’s Irish Blog Awards. Wow (again).
Now that my head has been sufficiently turned, I must turn back to knitting. Inspired to knit a lace-bolero-type-accessory-thing for summer wedding attire. But need to finish the heavily-wool-winter-jumper first. Grr…
it is becoming hard to finish the winter knits with all of the cool spring patterns coming out, isn’t it?

Pretty! How many times have you cleaned your fingerprints off of it? Hmmm? You keep picking it up to look at /fondle? You deserved it!
Winter is still well and alive here, although the spring flowers are poking up and the neighbor has started cutting his grass…still skiing every sunday with a storm due again this weekend. Just ordered yarn for a new ski sweater, a kind of retro snowflake pattern. But spring is due soon and also have a lacy organic cotton cardigan on the needles!

Congrats again. Like you I have a warm wooly cardi on the needles (for the third time I might add, due to tension, design, gauge etc) so would reallylike to finish it before I take on another summery task. Keep polishing the glass, it sure looks good.
