Full Circle
Indulging in a bit of retrospectivity…
One of my favorite pictures from our first days in Ireland.
Had stumbled upon a hidden inlet, rocks relentlessly battered by waves until rounded and smooth. What a treat as we, too, felt relentlessly battered by new cultural experiences in those early days.
How small the Kiddies seem!
Appropriate, then, to come full circle for another visit to the inlet during our last days on the island.
A few other pictorial indulgences thrown in for good measure…

ah - that’s lovely. . . .
how strange, the passing time. and yet, how wonderful!
You were missed, here, tonight. But we’ll see you soon.

It’s so beautiful! My daughter’s moving to England later this summer. Hubby and I hope to visit her there next year, and make a treck to Ireland while there.

How fast the babies grow……..
I hope they don’t have any problems adjusting to their new home and surroundings. I’m sure that you will make the transition easy for them.

I cannot imagine leaving such a beautiful place - even though I know Alexandria is a lovely city and that you’ll be together as a family again, I can’t help but feel sad for the life left behind…..

Lovely! What sweet memories you’re bringing back with you.

I know I shouldn’t say this, but how can you bear to leave?
The answer has to be that people are more important than places and being together as a family is better than beautiful scenery. As others have said, you have the memories and you can always go back.
It is lovely, though!
