Mmmmm…lol I love those mornings It’s best with Cool-Whip and vanilla ice cream but any way will do. We just pop down to one of the local farms and…voila! Haha enjoy-I know I’ll be jealous!
I’d be happy if the Thanksgiving meal consisted of just dinner rolls and pumpkin pie. The rest just takes up room that should be devoted to these two delights.
I agree with everyone else about how wonderful left-over pumpkin pie is for breakfast. I just had a terrible thought. We’re not hosting Thanksgiving this year. We’re going to my parents’ friends’ house. We won’t have left-overs!
I’ve enjoyed reading your contemplations about your purpose in writing your blog. You were one of the first blogs I discovered and enjoyed, and you’re so right about not needing to be “gimmicky.” Your blog approach reminds me of what a small group of similar-thinking women might share at an afternnon tea.
I weighed myself today and felt compelled to start a diet again(!!) and now you show a picture of something delicious!!! Good job I can’t just reach in and take a bite, I’ll just have to make myself a coffee and imagine the rest! Maybe I’ll imagine myself sylphlike with a slice of pie and that will help!!!
oh yeah! with whip cream. on the pie and in the coffee!

Oh boy, for this kind of pie I´ve been looking for ages.
Could you pleaaase give me your recipe. I have 4 pumpkins in my kitchen at the moment and would love to use them up.
Thanks in advance, and oh, it looks really yummy.
